Located 40 km away from Ambato, in a valley of waterfalls and hot winds in the province of Tungurahua, Baños de Agua Santa. It has a wonderful landscape where thousands of visitors come looking for spiritual and physical ecstasy.

Baños a national and international tourist center

Baños transformed into a  is the ideal place for doing ecotourism and extreme sports in the nature. Baños is also an excellent place to learn Spanish, as its population is famous for good pronunciation.

Easily accessible by bus from Ambato and Quito (four hours), Baños is a scenic little town named after the 5 sets of thermal baths found here. The thermal baths are fashioned in concrete pools and are located in one of the most remote regions in the Amazons.

It should come as no surprise then that most of Baños hotels are fashioned on spa themes and the wonders of nature found in this region of Ecuador. Its pleasant sub tropical climate and its amazing vegetation are very welcoming, right after the chill of the Andes. Baños is the door to the Amazon, a unique place for nature lovers and hikers.
