Azuay

Ecuador provinces, Azuay province, Cuenca

Created the 25 June 1824. It encompasses an area of 7.700 km². Its capital is Cuenca. It is located in the south center of Ecuador in the highlands.

Its mountains reach the 4500m above sea level in the National park of El Cajas.

The province is divided in 14 cantons: Chordeleg, Cuenca, Cuenca, Giron, Guachapala, Gualaceo, Nabon, Oña, Paute, Pucara, San Fernando, Santa Isabel, Sevilla de Oro, Sigsig

Bolivar

It is situated in central Ecuador in Sierra region, the capital is Guaranda.

Bolivar is divided in 7 cantons: Caluma, Chillanes, Chimbo, Echeandia, Guaranda, Las Naves, San Miguel.

Cañar

Cañar is located some 36 km north of Azogues, is the indigenous capital of the province.
