Different types of lava flows can be
compared and the Mangrove Forests can be observed. La Cumbre
volcano on
Fernandina Island is the most active volcano on the
Galapagos, erupting most recently in 1995.
Its vegetation, typical of the arid zone, is concentrated in
“kipukas” (small areas left untouched by recent lava).
It also provides a broad variety of wildlife and volcanic
features.
Here you can visit Punta Espinosa.
