in 1960, the Hotel Galapagos is the oldest hotel in Galapagos. It
is located on a large area of land directly on the ocean and right
next to the
Charles Darwin Research Center. Hotel
Galapagos has fourteen oceanfront rooms, spread out over five
acres (2 hectares) of natural seaside gardens. The gardens are
home to thriving colonies of marine iguanas and hundreds of
birds.
